The joint Webinars are an innovative method of peer and informal education, most effective in E-WORDS activity plan.
The Key Words (GENOCIDE AND CONCENTRATION CAMPS, IDENTITY, RESISTANCE, HUMAN RIGHTS AND DISCRIMINATION) are analysed by their meaning in the past and today Europe, promoting the reflection and debate on European cultural diversity and common values.
The final aim is to promote peace, reconciliation, respect.
The students of the four University partners are the main actors of the Webinars, as students from diverse nationalities with different cultures and education.
During the Webinars, students based in Krakow, Maastricht, Sibiu and Siena Universities reflect and discuss on the Key Words via web conference. The final aim is to lay the foundations for a mutual understanding of the Key Words and their meaning.
Each University Partner will prepare its students to discuss one of the Key Words selected during the kick off meeting in Siena:
Krakow: Genocide and Concentration Camps
Maastricht: Identity
Sibiu: Resistance
Siena: Human rights and Discrimination

At least two professors for each Partner University are in charge of the Webinars as moderators.
Expected results:
- A network of citizens (University professors and students) discussing about ostracism and loss of citizenship under totalitarian regimes in a multidisciplinary and European perspective;
- Reflection on how and why the meaning of selected words underwent changes during the 20th century;
- Debated and shared meaning of the Key Words characterizing E-WORDS;
- Comparison of the meaning of each Key Word in contemporary society;
- A common background for further activities in E-WORDS.
